Experience a BETTER approach to fixing your bike. This service is our most requested, as it ensures your bike is smooth, quiet and professionally adjusted for your many rides to come.

Wheels will trued to make sure they roll nice and straight. This is also critical to adjusting rim brakes. Hubs will be adjusted to make sure the bearings are running nice and smooth. Chain and all cables and housing will be lubed. Brakes will be adjusted to make sure they are working properly and not rubbing. Pivots and moving parts on derailleur(s) will be lubed to ensure they move freely and make the most of our adjustments. Derailleur limits will be fine-tuned to ensure your gears engage properly and the chain doesn’t come off or jump around. The derailleur hanger, which connects your frame and the rear derailleur, will be straightened to make sure we can really dial in your shifting. Headset bearings will be adjusted to ensure smooth handling and stability when the front brake is applied. (A loose headset can make applying front brake dangerous.) Bottom Bracket bearings will be adjusted to make sure the crank area is smooth, quiet and safe when you apply pressure to the cranks and pedals. Finally, we will give your bike a light wipe down so you can take your bike home with pride.

Wheels are straightened to make sure your bike feels solid and steady under power. Brakes are adjusted to ensure safe stopping for the extra weight of an e-bike. All shifting components are adjusted to ensure that nothing slows you down. Your steering bearings, wheel bearings, and crank area bearings are adjusted to ensure you choose how hard you work. The chain and all mechanical areas of the e-bike are lubed to make sure the “bike” part of your e-bike is a well-oiled machine. To finish, the e-bike gets an electronic-components-safe wipe down before it’s ready to hit the road (or DIRT!)

Frame Polished
This package combines our most popular overall service and our detailed parts wash. Wheels are trued and tensioned. Hubs, headset and bottom bracket are adjusted and torqued to spec. Next, we prepare to take a deep dive into your bike with our drive-train clean.—Your bike will never be pressure washed “like the pro’s do it,” at Montebello Bicycles. Your bike deserves more than just a hose-down. Pressure-washing can lead water and moisture to places that should be either dry, well-lubed or greased, not watered. Your drive-train parts will be removed from the frame and thoroughly cleaned in our Muc-Off Eco Parts Washer. This safely removes all the road debris and gunk that’s been accumulating while you’re out having fun. A water-based solution with anti-corrosive properties helps us get your parts sparkling clean. —We then take special care to properly re-assemble, re-lube and re-install the parts back on your bike. The derailleur hanger is precisely aligned to allow the fine-tuning that higher-speed drive-trains require. With all the clean parts back on the bike, all bolts are torqued and components and chain are properly lubed with our premium lubes. Once everything is fine-tuned, we test ride your bike. This ensures it runs as smooth on the road as it does on the repair stand. Finally, we take special care to polish the frame and really make it pop! The rest is up to you. Enjoy the ride.
